Client: Murdoch University – the Singapore Centre for Research in Innovation, Productivity and Technology (SCRIPT)
Situation: As one of Australia’s leading research universities, Murdoch has a growing international reputation in the field of innovation and productivity. And with the launch of the Singapore Centre for Research in Innovation, Productivity and Technology (SCRIPT), the university is all set to build on its international credentials.
Brief: Create a brochure to launch SCRIPT to government, industry and business leaders in Singapore, highlighting the new research centre’s expertise and capabilities, as well as Murdoch’s track record in this increasingly important area of research.
Deliverables: We set out working with the team at Murdoch to clarify the objectives for the brochure, then began copywriting content – as SCRIPT is such a new concept, there was a fair bit of groundwork to do in crystallising the messaging and positioning for the new centre.
Result: While it took a couple of drafts to reach the final version, the drafting process went very smoothly – the SCRIPT concept was evolving as we worked on the brochure, so we adopted a work-in-progress approach to drafting the content.
The result is a highly informative launch brochure that tells the SCRIPT story clearly and succinctly, enabling the Murdoch team to articulate the benefits of SCRIPT to Singapore’s business community.
Props to Tandem Studio for the design.
