A new name and sense of purpose for a Western Australian charity.

Client: Kids’ Camps

Situation: Kids’ Camps, a Western Australian community organisation, had been supporting children with disability, and their families, for over 30 years. However, as the organisation grew, diversifying its services to include young adults and a range of activities and support programs, the Kids’ Camps name became increasingly redundant.

A new name and branding was required – a fresh name and look that would more accurately reflect the organisation's vibrant culture and service offering.

Deliverables: At the request of branding and marketing agency Key2Creative (the project's lead), our copywriters were asked to drive a renaming project and build a messaging platform, revitalising the brand with the organisation’s strategic goals in mind.

  • Brand naming
  • Tagline development
  • CVP development

Result: After two naming workshops and broad consultation, we hit on the ideal name – Cahoots – combining the vibrant sense of fun, connection and friendship that underpins the organisation’s culture and services.
